My Approach
The most important person in this process is you!
The first and most important thing in this process is you:
-
I am here to support you. I will never tell you what to do or how you should feel but I will be there to support you in this journey.
-
I am highly organised but super casual and provide a relaxed, and safe space.
-
You set the pace. We will go as fast or as slow as you need and I will always make sure you feel safe, heard and not judged.
-
We will work together to create a tailor-made, individual program using proven methods to support your needs and reach your goals.
-
We review our sessions regularly so you have the chance to let me know how things are working for you and we can tweak things if needed.
-
My practice is in keeping with the ethical guidelines and Codes of Conduct set by the Australian Counselling Association and is strictly confidential.
-
I wholeheartedly believe in the process of counselling, I know it works and can begin the process of getting you where you want to be - you just need to take that first step and I will help you with the rest.
"When I have been listened to and when I have been heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new way and to go on. It is astonishing how elements that seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens, how confusions that seem irremediable turn into relatively clear flowing streams when one is heard."
